Women’s Development Program, MADFA, Sierra Leone
I graduated at St. Joseph's Secondary School for Girls in Makeni, Northern Province, Sierra Leone and started my Career in 1990 as the Womens's Development Program (WDP) Coordinator at MADFA. As a Coordinator, I facilitated small-scale enterprise development and leadership training for grassroots women’s associations and female high school dropouts in the Paki Masabong Chiefdom, in Northern Sierra Leone. This position was the eye opener that has motivated and led me to all the other career engagements that I have been involved in.
My Philosophy as a Community Development Practitioner an Adult Educator:
I believe that learning (formal/informal) is a life-long
process which enables individuals to develop their fullest potentials. This will enable them to make informed
choices and decisions for their well-being, families, Communities and environments.
These will al help them to improve their
socio-economic, political, spiritual and cultural competencies necessary for
the greater fulfillment in their live.
